“What sets Worry Dolls apart is their sense of humour. See tongue in cheek single ‘Oliver’ about their infatuation with a West End drag queen as a prime example.” Folkgeek
London indie-folk duo Worry Dolls’ music is packed full of sublime harmonies, atop a plethora of varied instruments, tongue in cheek honest lyrics and a refusal to sing cliché love songs. They have performed at Glastonbury and opened for the best – including Joan Armatrading. They have been making waves in and around the London acoustic scene, collecting praise and accolades as they go.
As well as being played on BBC 6 Music and BBC Radio 2 – Worry Dolls have developed a massive online following – their debut, self-titled EP clocked up over 91,000 views on You Tube and 72,000 hits on SoundCloud.
